Fright Night

2011. 106 minutes. Rated R.

“You read way too much Twilight”

Much like one of those heated emails you should never send before re-reading, I probably should wait until I’ve cooled off overnight before I write this, but I am angry. Hollywood has mangled another classic Horror movie from the 80s. This time it’s the original 1985 Fright Night, directed by Tim Holland. I’m pretty sure that this girl’s face in the bottom right corner of this remake Fright Night scene sums up this movie for me.

Either we’re going down… or they are…

Star Trek

This won’t be a short post, kids; I love me some Star Trek: old, new, black, white, Klingon, Vulcan, popular, unpopular. If the word “Trek” is in the title, chances are I liked it. This was not an easy task to pull off successfully, but the right actors, and the right creators stepped up, and in primo fashion gave a whole new generation a chance to boldly go where no one has gone before.
