Donnie Darko

2001. 113 Minutes. Rated R

They just wanna see what happens when they tear the world apart.”

To begin with… this movie is about time travel, but they almost speak more about The Smurfs than they do time travel (not true at all, but kinda).

I can’t even guess what stupid crap I was watching when this film came out. I know I was in college for what would have been all of about ten minutes before dropping out, packing up all my stuff, and moving to Florida all alone. Maybe if I’d seen this masterpiece, I would have been seeing the world from a different angle. I digress, though–ree whole years would go by before I’d discover it.

Nothing Gold Can Stay…

The Outsiders

Who knew what was going to happen with these guys? The faces in this picture below would take over Hollywood like a force. If ever a director had an eye for what was coming down the road, Francis Ford Coppola did when he cast this group of future A-Listers to portray the already famous Greasers on film.

Quote: It doesn’t matter. Greasers will still be Greasers and Socs will still be Socs.
